Don't Panic


This evening I had a chat with Pete's lovely PR lady about being a case study. We talked about how the most important thing I've got from the program is increased positivity about myself and breaking the cycle of yo-yo dieting. Unfortunately she needed my current weight. I've trained myself not to obsess about the scales, so standing on them tonight weighing half a stone more than I had expected was embarrassing. However, it's temporary after a week of being ill, overeating and not exercising. It's been a lesson learned, next time I'm ill I'll search out better methods of getting through it. So, don't panic, I'm bouncing back. Started a biography of my journey over the years, an interesting process. Spent too much time looking for old photos I've not watched Pete's back to basics video. Doesn't matter as I've been inspired by looking at my past.

Today I walked to and from work. I refused biscuits. I ate a healthy lunch. Yesterday the junk-free flapjacks I made didn't bind so I ended up with granola. I didn't need to eat this when I got home from work. I would have been better to just had dinner. I've stayed off anything extra since my meal. I've prepared for work tomorrow.

My colleague said something nice to me today. Last Monday and Tuesday I was spot on with the program, I had inspired her and her husband to make changes to their eating habits. She proudly showed me her carrot sticks too!
